The first six pages of Nancy Anthracite's nineteen page "Install" document will get you up and running with a working GT.M environment, plus the innards of VistA accessible via a GT.M terminal. The remaining pages get you CPRS. My rewrite here is intended to work on Ubuntu Linux, and I've tested it on my own 8.04 Hardy Heron machine. This documentation is definitely a first effort. Hope it helps; feedback appreciated.

Created Wednesday 22 October 2008

The first six pages of Nancy Anthracite's nineteen page "Install" document will get you up and running with a working GT.M environment, plus the innards of VistA accessible via a GT.M terminal. The remaining pages get you CPRS. My rewrite here is intended to work on Ubuntu Linux, and I've tested it on my own 8.04 Hardy Heron machine. This documentation is definitely a first effort. Hope it helps; feedback appreciated.

Nancy maintains this download server for VistA. Start by getting the latest version of her instruction text (and maybe read through the install script for examples of how the commands really look), then follow through the page links above to download everything you need to install GT.M and VistA:
