CPRS Config: Notifications

Welcome to the Notifications Configuration Page.

What Are Notifications?

It's a message generated by the system at specific events. Notifications are the closest thing to an SMS text message you will get in VISTA. Some common messages are:

• Lab Results
• Note needs to be signed
• Order needs to be signed
• New Consult

You have to be very careful on how you configure notifications: not to deliver too many, and they actually are processed by the users. Many patient related events are relayed through the notification system; as such, proper use is essential to the functioning of VISTA as an EMR.
