Extract Process

This process is run after the update process. This function goes through patients on the local registry and, depending on their status, extracts all available data for the patient, since the last extract was run. This process also updates any demographic data held in the local registry for all existing patients that have changed since the last extract. The extract transmits any collected data for the patient to the national database via HL7.
